Arctic Falls new facility gets international award

The 400 meters long indoor winter conditions facility was completed outside Piteå in March 2016 and only seven months later Arctic Falls receives the international accolade.

– ”It’s extremely satisfying to receive this award based on all the hard work behind this investment. The ability to test tires indoors under real winter conditions on this scale is something new and we have in a very short period of time, thanks to a great commitment from the staff, managed to offer our customers an all year round testing environment”, says Jonas Jalar, CEO of Arctic Falls.

Automotive Testing Technology International Magazine (ATTI) awards the prize to Arctic Falls ”because the judges felt that the new indoor test facility was the most impressive example of a proving ground company making a major investment to help further vehicle development in 2016”.

– “The concept of bringing the harshest of Arctic winter conditions indoors to ensure consistency and repeatability of tests, thereby saving time and money as well as extending the season, is truly remarkable. It deserves the highest accolade”, says Keith Read, journalist.
